A Touch of Love

Here’s a very touching poem that I received from a friend in email. Every parent can surely relate in every word written here.

Time goes so fast so let’s treasure every moment of being with our kids. We will surely miss all their "FIRST"..... the innocent smile, the laughter that sounds just like sweet music to our hears, the first step of walk that they are very dependent of holding our hands so tightly and afraid to fall and can't rise back again, and hearing the first word that they uttered be it "Dada", "Papa" or "Mama", "Mom", "Dad" made us so proud.
These are worth remembering, for One day, a Man or a Woman is in front of you leaving you for a while and be having a Family.

A TOUCH OF LOVE

You were six months old and full of fun,With a blink of my eye, you were suddenly one.
There were so many things we were going to do,but I turned my head and you turned two.
At two, you were very dependent on me,but independence took over when you turned three.
Your third birthday; another year I tried to ignore, but when I lit the candles, there weren't three, but four.
Four was the year that you really strives. Why, look at you now, you're already five.
Now you are ready for books and for rules. This is the year you go to school.
The big day came, you were anxious to go.
We walked to the bus going oh, so slow. As you climbed aboard and waved good-bye, I felt a lump in my throat and tears stung my eyes.
Time goes so fast it's hard to believe that just yesterday you were home here with me.
And tomorrow when the bus brings you home and you jump to the ground you'll be wearing your cap and graduation gown.
So I'm holding to these moments as hard as I can, because the next time I look, I'll be seeing a man

True indeed....That's why I am savoring every moment I spend with my kids. Sometimes, when I get angry coz they act up, I look at them and I give them hugs, because I know, I cannot turn back the clock to get those moments again. They grow so fast and before I know it, they will have their own lives to live..
