Goodbye lines....

“ If I would love a man, half as wise, half as good as you are” (woman)
“ Why set for half, If you could have it whole” (man)
“ Could I? (woman)

Oh! These goodbye lines strikes to the deepest part of my heart when my former board mate who was working as a telephone operator had confided to me her problem on how to say goodbye to someone you shared a love with for more than two years. I told her that it’s really hard to say goodbye to someone who have brought so much love, joy and fulfillment in your relationship. I asked her why? Are you not in love with him anymore or maybe the other way around. She cried and told me that we’re still both in love with each other but the relationship was wrong since the very first time we’ve met. I said why? She then admitted to me that his boyfriend is married and she has finally decided to end up the relationship even how painful it is and how much she loves the guy.

Her lines above were the last lines of goodbyes and let go of that which she once held.

First Date at the Disco

Were you in your teens at the mid- 80’s? If yes, am pretty much sure that you have experienced going at the Disco with your friends. How about going at Disco with a Date?

I remember my First Date was at the Disco. It was unforgettable, most embarrassing but humorous one.

I was so nervous then but so excited on what to wear. Dancing to the 80’s tune made me really crazy. Disco dancing were my friends favorite past time. My friends advised me to just be on my casual chic that time. I wore jeans, a tank top, flat shoes and spear myself a mild perfume. My date then wore jeans also, white t-shirt with collar match with a pair of black shoes. How can I forget?!

When me and my date were on the dance floor I saw many friends, I simply can’t control myself to socialize and gone wild dancing with my friends, that I almost forgot that I have a date dancing with me. We occupied too much room on the dance floor and just having the time of our life dancing. The crowd’s favorite disc jockey plays most of our favorite Dance tunes. I was sweating and catching my breath when my date asked me for a break. I still felt dizzy, from dancing and from the lights also, as we were heading back to our table. I didn’t notice that there was still one step down on our way--- I fell! Yes I fell! I was on my knees and my face was practically on the floor! Really, what a shame! It was really embarrasing that I wanted to run home already or hoping the floor will open and eat me alive!
Luckily, the floor was carpeted and my face was just mildly hurt hehehe… I stood up and gathered my composure with the help of my date but have not heard any single word from him, he just smiled at me. (Hehehe) You know that feeling? Can’t even look at his face, I was soooooo…. ashamed!. Unfortunately we didn’t end up together and maybe he said to himself what a girl! (he-he-he..)

Lessons learned on that incident was to watch our manners when in public places. If you can't handle it- avoid marathon dancing or dancing too much to the point of losing oneself. Keep your steps simple and if you’re a dance expert, don’t be too eager to show-off. If you have a Date with you, spend more time with him. You should also know when to have a break and have a “Kit-Kat” (chocolate) he-he-he.

Remembering Bimbo

Bimbo is my Auntie’s favorite dog. I remember Bimbo, a Japanese Spitz Breed Dog who used to stay at my Auntie’s working desk every time my Auntie get up from bed and start her day working in her newspaper and magazines business.

Bimbo is a very curious and lively breed dog. He acts like a personal guard to my Auntie and will even barks my Auntie’s driver and salesman if they were given money for their travel to deliver the newspaper and magazines. He is really a good watchdog. When my Auntie will go to the kitchen to get some food to eat that’s the time that he will get down and assist my Auntie and be back again when the latter returns back at her desk and do some paper jobs.

My Auntie loves Bimbo so much that this dog even have a separate bed inside her bedroom and He will not fall asleep until my Auntie will sleeps first. By the way my Auntie is a single-blessedness and so most of her time was then devoted in managing her own business and taking care of Bimbo.

It was in the mid-year of 1990’s when I received the sad news from my Auntie’s household helper that she passed away and died of heart attack. She further told me that in the morning before my Auntie died she was able to narrate her pain the night before and only she and her dog were in the house. She told her helper that Bimbo didn’t leave her and even saw the dog crying while she’s in pain and almost had collapsed at the stairs. Bimbo didn’t know what to do and you can see in his face how worried he is. If only he can talk he would have asked help to the neighbors and bring my Auntie that night in the Hospital.

Bimbo is just a mere dog but nothing can surpass the love and respect that he has showed to my Auntie. Though He can’t communicate thru words you can feel in his actions how much He cares for my Auntie until the latter
died.

This is a lesson to all the children out there to show our love and respect to our Parents Before it’s too late don’t be ashamed to tell how much you love them.

How this Started......

Reminiscing the good days in our job wherein we have so much fun, excitement and the thrill of receiving our full monthly salaries plus sales commissions that is enough to cover up our monthly expenses and even have some extras to buy our favorite clothes, accessories stuffs at "Ukay-Ukay" ( 2nd hand apparels) , dine in our favorite foodspot, etc... But then oops...... these were all in the PAST. The reality is now here and we realize that we don't have to stick on the Past Thing but instead do something and create an interesting pastime and hopefully earn extra income for this.

Just thought of creating this blog to voice out the stressful but challenging experiences being a full time working mom.
