A Mother's Love is Forever

There is an overwhelming feeling of love that fills a mother's heart whenever she stops and thinks of what a miracle her children are to her life and how absolutely wonderful her life is because of them.

All parents feel a special kind of endless love for their children, yet there is no way for a child ever to comprehend the depth of that love until the day comes when they are parents, too.

A child is a miracle that never ceases to be miraculous. A Child is full of beauty and forever beautiful. A child is loving and caring and truly amazing.

Time will pass by, and so many things will change, but the absolute joy that a child brings to life will only grow deeper and more important.

I cant wait to see my second child soon...

A Lifetime of Happiness Begins When You Become a Mother

Nothing can quite compare to the joy of being a mother.

No words can describe the happiness that having a baby brings or come close to expressing the pride and love you feel the moment you first hold your child in your arms.

Being a mother is a special gift that fills your life with happiness, love, and a lifetime of memories..

This may be late, but I want to greet all moms, Happy Mothers' Day! Nothing really beats the fulfillment of being a mom!

Sweet Treat on Valentines Day

It’s Valentines Day on Feb. 14 and I guess most couples will really celebrate it even to the simplest way they can for as long as they would be together on this very special day. Thinking of what perfect gift to give to your spouse, sons daughters and other members of the family this Valentines Day? Well, I am sharing to all of what my friend -Wendy has passed on to me of a “Valentines Day Tradition” that I will surely will do this Valentines Day.

1.Get up early and fix a sumptuous breakfast meal for your family like bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles and so on. Go for their favorites. Then, hang something red like balloons around your dining room;

2.Write a love-note to each family member and place this on the plate;

3.For your spouse, write him a sincere love-letter. Include the qualities that you loved most about your husband and mention the favorite times you’ve shared together throughout the year.

To all my co-bloggers, have a Happy and Sweet Valentines Day!

Morning sickness remedies that work

Like some women, morning sickness is still present even in the second trimester of pregnancy. I still try anything safe to save off the pregnancy sickness - sucking lemon drops, sipping hot teas, even eating crackers in bed. Yet what causes that nauseous feeling remains somewhat of a mystery.

Some researchers contend it's the body's natural defense system at work, protecting our baby from harmful toxins, though the most popular theory is that it's due to elevated hormones. But since all pregnant women's hormones are in flux, why do only a little more than half of expectant moms get sick? Often, more hormones circulating means a greater chance we'll be feeling pukey. I think environment also plays a role: Scents like strong perfume, the sight of certain foods, and motion can trigger nausea. In addition, stress, fatigue and operating on an empty stomach can make us more prone to gastrointestinal upsets.

I have tried the following remedies which not only work but help me get through my daily activities. Drinking ginger tea; sniff, eat and lick lemons - the refreshing smell and taste calm our stomachs; and lastly eating my favorite healthy food, it said that any food will protect our stomach lining. Even if all we can eat is potato chips, go for it. Many pregnant women are determined to eat what they are supposed to eat, but the real key when we are having morning sickness is to eat anything as long as we can keep it down.

Touch me not

A child and pregnancy take a lot out of a marriage: time, energy and attention, for starters. And I know when the kids get older, when they join sports or other activities and make friends of their own, they demand even more time, energy and attention. Eventually, between jobs and carpooling and household chores, the person we end up having the least amount of time for is our spouse.

Most days now, I am lucky to have enough energy to give my husband a kiss goodnight. That romp between the sheets that he is begging for is out of the question. I told him that when I'm not so tired, or maybe sometime over the weekend would be good. He rolls over, frustrated, and I stare into the darkness, exhausted and wondering if I'll ever be in the mood again. Oftentimes, when sex does happen, it feels more like a chore than an act of pleasure.

It says that a sexless marriage, even if its is temporary, can cause a sense of disconnectedness between a wife and husband. I know it is important part of the glue that keeps parents or married couples connected.

I hope this is just happening now because I'm pregnant and caring for a toddler, maybe things will change later on say after giving birth? that's 5 more months to go! Can my husband wait that long?? Hopefully...
